CamDo provides a professional grade underwater housing suitable for deep water and extreme environments, such as for munitions testing or in air or water containing corrosive chemicals. The Housing Extension can be inserted between the front faceplate and the deepwater housing. This gives extra inches of space behind the camera for accessories or additional batteries.
The housing extension is carved from a solid block of aluminum and has been tested to withstand pressures of 2,300 psi (157 kg/cm2), equivalent to a depth of 5,000 feet. The anodized aluminum is resistant to saltwater and harsh environments.
The extension adds 2 inches (5 cm) of additional space behind the camera.
Please note that our Deep Water products may not be purchased for resale to third parties.

How long will the battery last before it is discharged?
The Intervalometer can be used to extend the battery life. How long the battery will last depends on many factors such as the camera you are using and the shooting schedule you have programmed. There are just too many variables to give an accurate answer.
An analysis of the power consumption of the various GoPro cameras and an explanation of how to calculate the theoretical battery life is outlined on theGoPro Power Consumption page. OurTime Lapse Calculator page can be used to assist you in planning the interval times of your time lapse project.
For reference, in our own tests, a HERO3+ Black lasted 3 weeks shooting one shot per hour.
